Welcome to ARCTICA , a simply  presentation of the most widespread cancels & cachets of Russian arctic stations

 

We  believe  that  a need  exists for a  tool   to help the collectors to know the most widespread cachets and cancels of  Russian arctic  stations.  The author propose an alphanumerically system, permitting to add, at any time, new stations or cachets, without disturb the present classification.                                                                                                                                                      

             The system consists to amass the  arctic  stations around of  6 meteorological regional centers. Each center  (definite by a prefix from two block letters)  has  99 locations( 01- 99), one for each rallied station; at her turn, each station  has a lot of locations ( in order from aa to zz) for own cachets.
